7:15am Palm Springs / World Gym 1751 N. Sunrise, ZIP 92262 (NW Corner Vista Chino & Sunrise)
7:30am Palm Desert / T-Mobil store 34260 Monterey, ZIP 92260 (SE Corner Monterey & Dinah Shore, same parking lot as Sam’s Club)
8:00am La Quinta / Stop light-Hwy 111 & Simon Dr., turn north, big parking lot to your right
- Tour Information:
Bus will arrive at the Los Algodones parking lot at 10:30am. The Bus parks at the border and passengers will need to walk across the border to Algodones (approximately 5 minute walk). Passengers will be able to spend approximately 4 ½ hours in Algodones.
Bus will depart Los Algodones where the bus dropped off at 3:00pm. The bus will be arriving back in the Desert between 5:30pm-6:30pm, depending on your pickup location.
In Algodones there is shopping for silver, glassware and pottery. There are also cafes where you can get authentic Mexican food. Everyone speaks English. In Algodones, prices will be in U.S dollars and cash and credit cards are accepted.
Algodones is a medical border town where most people fill their prescriptions, have medical and dental procedures at discounted rates. If making dental appointment; let them know that you are taking a bus over and the bus departs at 3:00pm.
